Village in the City

Moving flat seems like to be on the repertoire of each month in London. Me, my friend, friend of friend, my sister, me again and me once more. Luckily it was my sister's turn this month. After sharing room with her for one lovely month she has finally found a flat near North Greenwich station in the Millennium Village.

Good times have arrived as she left; not just that I can walk around my flat without falling over in a random suitcase but I've got my new camera delivered. :)

I took these pictures around my sister's place when we went for a walk to discover her new area.

Roadtrip Part I.- City of Bath

And magic happens sometimes.
My cousin phoned me on Sunday afternoon to go somewhere out of London the next day. I suggested Bath since I've never been there and have heard about its charm many times.
City of Bath is about 3 hours driving from London and once you are there it's like an enchanted fairy tale.

It's the Bath Abbey in front and the Roman Baths on the right
.

Mark Foster's (Olympic swimmer) torso made of Bath stone.

Beautiful randomness of English gardens.

Circus, the Royal Cresent on top of the city.

I loved the colour of the buildings, gives a very special mood to the town. (Mostly Georgian architecture crafted from Bath Stone.)

Haunted town, Bath after the sun goes down.

We had limited time for everything as we arrived only in the late afternoon. But tried to make the most of our visit so decided to stay for the night and experiment the night-life of the town of students. This is our hotel from the back.

Early waking in the next morning, a little bit hungover from last night's freshers parties but new day, new energy for the next plan. The destination: the gorgeous Cheddar Gorge. ( on the blog tomorrow)

Colourful London

Finally I went back to the vintage shop and bought the trousers:)
Was such a sunny day so I decided to take a walk, thought I'm heading home but after 45 mins walking I had to realize that I've got completely lost. After all, it was so refreshing to see some colours as a hint of spring after this long lasting black-and-white-and-grey winter.

Whites

The view from my Mum's balcony in Budapest. Just didn't want to stop snowing.

The Szechenyi Medicinal Bath was built in 1913 in Neo-baroque style to the design of Gyozo Czigler.
I love to visit the bath at winter time, besides enjoying the spa facilities you can get lost in the beautiful white fog which covers the heated outdoor pools.

I love the mood of old tenements in Budapest.
These buildings were built as part of Budapest's landscape modernisation of the 1940's.
